Knowsley Marvellous Medicine!
There are some exciting activities, events and talks to support this new exhibition.

Sunday Funday
Every Sunday between 2 pm & 4 pm Prescot Museum gives you the chance to get creative. Come and join in one of our free, drop in activity sessions to make a variety of fun things. Activities take around half an hour to make. Please note children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Toddler Group
'Hickory Dickory' Toddler Group runs every Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10 am for an hour (term-time only). Each week there will be a new craft activity with a story and favourite nursery rhymes. There is also a teddy trail with exciting games and time to explore the museum together.
Places are limited to ensure the young children have enough time and space to enjoy the session. If you would like to come along to one of the FREE sessions please contact the museum on 0151 430 7787.

Holiday Activities
Each school holiday we run activities in the museum for children aged 4 years and over. These sessions last 1 hour, some sessions are free whilst others have a small charge, with free admission to the museum. Please note all children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
School Summer Holidays
28th & 29th July, 11-12pm or 2-3pm, 'Keeping healthy is fun!' FREE!
A session for all the family, looking at eating healthily and staying fit. A really fun and interactive workshop, playing games and discovering how the things we eat affect our health.
These sessions are FREE, but places are booking up quickly, so please phone the museum to book your place 0151 430 7787.
5th August, 11am, 'Fantastic Fruit!' FREE!
The Community Cooks will be at the museum this morning, talking about healthy eating and cooking. Come along and get involved making a fun fruit salad to tickle your taste buds!

19th & 26th August 11am-12pm 'Get Growing!' FREE!
It's fun, it's delicious, it's healthy and it's much easier than you think! Great family sessions exploring how to grow your own food and tips on healthy cooking and eating. There will also be a hands on activity: on the 19th we will be planting seeds in recycled pots. On the 26th we will be decorating a plant pot and then planting in a herb.

Fun craft activities with a medical twist!
Explore our latest Exhibition 'Knowsley's Marvellous Medicine' and then get creative in one of our workshops:
4th August, 11am or 2pm - Modrock Fun
Get creative and messy! Using Modrock, special plaster bandages that dry solid, just like in a hospital. £2
11th & 12th August, 11am or 2pm - Doctor's bag
Just what the doctor ordered! Be inspired by our Marvellous Medicine exhibition and make your own doctor's bag. £2
18th August, 11am or 2pm - Body bits board game
Work your way around the body by creating your own magnetic board game! £2
25th August, 11am or 2pm - Toothbrush Buddies!
A fun craft activity creating little 'buddies' for when you're cleaning those pearly whites! £2

Places are booking up quickly so please book a place, unless stated as 'free' the craft sessions costs £2 per child, museum entrance is FREE.

Prescot Museum Talks & Walks!
Throughout the year the museum hosts a variety of talks and other events for adult visitors on a wide range of subjects, linking to the museums exhibition programme and the local history of the area.
Places for talks and walks are usually free but there are limited spaces, so please book in advance.
